How Crystals Can Heal?

Crystals serve as an excellent co-therapy with other appropriate healing modalities, such as medicine and mental health care. They are one aspect of treatment that can help bring about healing when used with other more traditional forms of health care. The color, formation, and lattice structure of healing crystals cause specific gemstones to vibrate at certain frequencies. These vibrational frequencies produce a measurable electrical discharge when subjected to mechanical stress, a property called piezoelectricity. Piezoelectric crystals like quartz hold potential energy that releases as an electrical charge when compressed or struck. This is why quartz is a common element in mechanical and electronic devices such as clocks and circuits. While piezoelectricity demonstrates the energy crystals contain, it doesn’t necessarily explain how they can heal. To do that, we look to the 1600s, when a Dutch mathematician named Christiaan Huygens discovered a principle of physics called entrainment. Huygens had two pendulum clocks, which he hung near each other on a wall. The pendulums were moving at different rates and frequencies, but Huygens noticed that with continued proximity, they actually “locked into phase” and began to move together. Entrainment is a repeatable scientific phenomenon, and it has profound implications for all forms of energy healing, including crystal healing. Crystals heal through entrainment. When you place a crystal vibrating at one frequency near a human body vibrating at a different frequency, the two lock into phase, meeting somewhere in the middle. This shift in vibration can help bring vibrational and energetic balance to the person receiving treatment. Crystals can treat people, animals, plants, or other organisms experiencing energetic imbalances.
